I found the first part of the audition fun (the dance part) as it was in the morning and I was very energetic. The singing and acting part wasn't as good as I was waiting 6 hours to be called in by this point, I was really tired and my voice had started to be really tired as well.
I demonstrated professionalism by in the dance round of the audition, I asked appropriate questions if I was unsure and I made sure that I was paying full attention to what was going on. In the singing round of the audition, I went and spoke to the pianist and showed them my sheet music, which was taped.
If I had the chance to do this again, I would have chosen songs that suited my cast ability, and used the time waiting better by making sure I stayed hydrated and making sure my voice was still warm.
My audition demonstrated it badly because, I chose songs that were not appropriate for me and my cast ability as I chose songs that were too old for me and songs that were not the same race as me.
I can improve by making sure I was more confident than I was walking into all parts of the audition and chasing material that are suited to a certain cast ability (12-17).
